M Grup – A pioneer in printing products since 1998 – counts on the compact flexo press Allstein SPRINT. M Grup is a family owned business with deep roots in offset, label and packaging printing. With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, the company in Kayseri, Turkey, offers a complete range of services from offset printing to graphic design. In 2020, M Grup is putting their vision into action by expanding into the growth market of flexible packaging by investing in a state-of-the-art CI flexo printing machine. At that time, the group speaks with the flexographic printing press manufacturer Allstein, among others, which is already on the radar of M Grup as a premium brand due to its innovative product development and extremely efficient printing machines. Allstein presents them with the highly productive HYDRO model, but due to their specific needs for short run lengths, their focus is on fast changeover times. The solution comes in 2021 in the form of the compact 8-color machine Allstein SPRINT, which takes up only 50 square meters of space. The SPRINT completely fulfils the demands of M Grup and is successfully purchased. The SPRINT is the first CI flexo printing press that M Grup adds to their portfolio and a partnership relationship is established from the start. Allstein’s expert advice in the field of flexo printing is an added value for a printer just entering the flexible packaging market, and the local representation by Pasifik Trading allows for excellent service throughout the process. However, the success story only begins here: production can be started just one month after start of installation. “With the Allstein printing machine that was put into operation in a short time, M Grup received the G7 certificate with a high score after just 2 months, an important quality proof in the flexible packaging market,” says Mehmet Turan Tahtasakal, Sales Manager and Board Member of M Grup: “Quick setup times and ease of use of the SPRINT make even short jobs profitable for us in flexo printing.” M Grup can now offer its customers in flexible packaging a continuous and sustainable service at a high level. The Allstein SPRINT offers stable printing capabilities. Thanks to A RUN and tight register; we are applying ECG (extended color gamut) to most of the print jobs. Also with A RUN, we can switch to sellable printing within 1 to 2 meters. The function of the 100% control through the camera system is also very valuable for us.” He concludes: “It was an investment with good results.
